About Us

My deep love of honey compelled me to start my own apiary. Named after me of course, Beezoozles is just one of my human's nicknames for me and so we thought it fitting to name it after me! Being blind gave me enhanced sense of smell and radar so finding honey is easier for me.

Also goes by: Basie (my actual name), Bazoo, BasieBoo

My job at Beezoozles is to bark very loudly and chase away large and scary predators! Deer, turkeys, gophers, bunnies, you name it I scare it away from our hives! I leave the bears for dad to handle. If not chasing predators, I'm usually found buried under the covers in bed.

Did you know mice love beehives? They use hives to keep warm and steal heat from the bees. I make sure to contain the mice and present them as gifts to my humans. They particularly like it when I leave them in their shoes. Don't tell the dogs but really I'm in charge.
